What a great way to kick off the Eagle Scout project from Jonathan Jennings troop 22 at the Cancer Center please keep on donating so that we can complete his project.
I learned about this center through the internet.
I had breast cancer 20 years ago. I have been cancer free for a long time. Recently, in the past couple years I have lost my insurance so I have no way to afford to have my mammograms. I found the center and they paid for my mammogram. I had to go for the 2nd mammogram w/diagnostics. There appears to be an issue and now I have to have a breast MRI. Without the Debbie Turner Center I would have not been able to do this! I am so very grateful. I could never repay or thank you enough. Thank you!!!
What a great event with the East Lake chamber.
Shelley got to ring the bell at infusion center today!
She is done with chemo (thank God, she was extremely sick this week). Time to celebrate this first step!
So now she enters into “maintenance” phase, she will go in every 3 weeks for just one day to get immunotherapy (no sickness!) and get Ct scans every 6 weeks. There is no time limit on how long this will last, they say she will do this as long as there’s no changes. Keep praying for good results! Thank you for all you for your love, prayers and support!
Love all of you, Frank and Shelley
There are no words to tell how I felt yesterday after putting an ad in the paper for our yard sale.
An employee of the Apopka Chief and Planter came by to see the wheelchair for her husband, besides the fact that he got a new chair, we brought out a stander and a lift.
I started to cry and said he hadn’t been able to stand for a few years.
Today I want everyone to take the time when they get up out of bed and stand, when they get up off a chair and stand or when you get up from your desk at work and stand. Remember how blessed you are. I am so proud of the work we do here at the center.
Thank you all for your love and support and a great golf tournament, see you all next year!
